Last Class

Last BS class today as DD goes into nursery next week - a real shame as we both really enjoy it - the girl that runs it brought us some flowers as a thank you for attracting new people when the class looked like folding - was a lovely thing to do - was really chuffed.

After class went around to MIL with a bouquet to say thank you for being such a star on Sat/Sun when we were so ill - stayed for a while and then home for lunch.

Every Cloud....

On the road to recovery as far as the bug goes - DH had to take the day off work as still a bit wobbly in the morning but had recovered enough in the afternoon to take me to look at Troll beads. Got a lovely bracelet and lock from MIL for Xmas and a bead from DD as well.

Still not 100% today but DH away to work and DD and I are up and about - hoping that DD doesn't take the bug - she's been a bit off colour but not ill as such.... keeping fingers crossed.

Murphy's Law

Or something to that effect. Typical that the first weekend that DH goes away and leaves me and the ba on our own - I go down with a gastric bug. DH got a lift for his weekend away so no way he can come back early ( too much alcohol in bloodstreams by the time I phoned!)

Luckily MIL came to the rescue and helped me feed and bath DD - got the bottles done and headed to bed.

Feeling awful this morning but at least I haven't thrown up again.

Had a very relaxed day today but really enjoyed it. Went to BF cafe in the morning and then out to lunch with some of the other mums - lovely to just chat and have some craic. Weather not so good - planned to go MIL in afternoon but was tipping it down so didn't
